Ford 4610 Specs, Horsepower, Oil Capacity, and Dimensions

The Ford 4610 made its Basildon debut in 1981. From 1983 on, it was offered for sale with a choice of automatic or manual transmissions, as well as 4×4 or 2×4 drive options. In the first year, a total of 1,000 units were sold, and 2,000 more were sold in 1984.

All three of the Ford 4610/4611/4612 tractors could be ordered with either a short (1560mm) or long (2040mm) wheelbase chassis; these could then be combined with either a single cab featuring full-width doors on both sides or an extended cab version having narrower doors on one side only – this allowed drivers to access their seat without having to climb over their passengers. The 4610/4611/4612 tractors were essentially identical to one another, differing only in length and cab design.

One of two 3.3 L (201.0 cu in) three-cylinder engines—a 3.3 L (201.0 cu in) three-cylinder diesel engine or a 3.3 L (201.0 cu in) three-cylinder gasoline engine—powers the Ford 4610. A synchromesh transmission with 8 forward and 4 reverse gears or a transmission with 8 forward and 2 reverse gears are both options for the transmission.
