John Deere S100 Review

Having owned my John Deere s100 for two years, I adore it. The only issue I have with JD S100 is that the deck will bend if you run over something that sticks up, like a rock or a manhole cover. Additionally, this mower’s larger wheels make it challenging to turn into tight spaces. This product is fantastic aside from that.

Every time you mow your lawn, make sure the belts are properly tensioned. It has plenty of power once warmed up, but if you try to pull the mower back while the engine is still cold, it will bog down until the engine warms up. I keep mine at about 1/4 in. give or take a quarter inch either way just enough so there is no slippage but not too tight so it cuts down on power when pulling the mower back from the cutting area (this is normal). Since it has plenty of power and cuts faster than any other riding, I prefer to run mine at full throttle.

My recommendation following reading all of the reviews is to make sure it is serviced or repaired by a professional. Many people have issues with their equipment because they don’t know how to use and maintain it properly. Pay someone else to do it for you if you’re not mechanically inclined. Instead of spending money on repairs every few months, it is worth it to keep your equipment in good working order.

John Deere S110 Review

John Deere s110 lawn mower is fantastic, in my opinion, and I really like JD s110. You can use a gas can or one of the many gas filling options that can be plugged into the deck’s side. The auto-choke is also convenient because it will automatically reset itself to have a constant start-up time if you wait too long to start it. The mower deck wash port has rubber grommets to stop water from leaking in, the engine isn’t overly loud, and the air filter is simple to access underneath the machine. There are multiple adjustments for cutting heights ranging from 1″ to 4″ and it is very simple to adjust the cutting height on each wheel separately. It will be challenging to find another well-made mower.
